I feel so fortunate to be able to retire in the Bay Area. San Francisco is the destination I visit via BART whenever there’s an urge for a change of pace. The city’s wide streets and open spaces accommodate large and varied gatherings; its liberal outlook provides for a  broad spectrum of events; its a city whose easily recognized landmarks display a rich historic culture. My camera is at my side to record the sights of a photogenic city easily traversed.
