San Francisco’s Civic Center is truly a grand display of institutional architecture and the City Hall is easily its crown jewel. As dominate as its central dome with spire is on the outside, it is the vast interior space, soft lighting and striking details that is the most memorable. This building has recently been restored and retrofitted to last well into the future.
