COMPATIBILITY OF BIRTH PATH NUMBER

We are compatible with people for different reasons.  There is no one way to determine exactly how your relationship with someone will unfold.  In numerology there are many factors that are used to determine the qualities in each person, and how they may interact with another.  Despite our desire to be given a forecast of whether someone is “right” for us, we can never really know—or account for—the reasons why we fall in love or are attracted to someone.  We may be with this person to learn a valuable lesson or to complete our karma with them.

However, one way to begin to understand how we might get along with another person is to compare the numbers of our individual Birth Paths (the total of all the numbers in the birthday.)

HOW TO CALCULATE YOUR BIRTH PATH

You will be amazed at how much information is packed into your birthday.  The numbers in your Birth Date describe your natural tendencies, talents, and point of view about life. Therefore, you can also peek into another person’s personality to see if you are similar or opposite!

Finding your numerological BIRTH PATH number is easy.

Just add together the month, day, and year (be sure to include all four digits of the year—such as 1941.)
Convert your month of birth into a single number.  For example, January is 1, February is 2, and so on.  October is 10 so add 1 + 0 = 1.  November is 11, so add 1 + 1 = 2.  December is 12, which adds to 3.

Add all the month, day, and year numbers to get a two-digit total.  Then add those two digits together to 1 digit.  That number is your Birth Path—your true self.  To find out how you relate to someone else, compare your Birth Path with their Birth Path.

EXAMPLE:   Brad Pitt was born on December 18, 1963.  Reducing each number down to a single digit and adding all three numbers, we see Brad has a 4 Birth Path.

                      December 18, 1963
                        12            9   19 (1+9 = 10 = 1 +0 = 1)
                          3     +    9    +   1     =  13
continue adding:                 1 + 3 =          4 Birth Path  (Brad)

COMPARE BIRTH PATHS TO SEE HOW YOU GET ALONG

Here are the birthdays of two actresses who have been partners with Brad Pitt.  How does he get along with each woman according to her Birth Path number?

Angelie Jolie (actress now living with Brad) was born June 4, 1975

                    June 4, 1975

                      6 + 4  +  4 =   14  =    5 Birth Path  (Angelina)

Gwyneth Paltrow (actress and Brad’s former girl friend) was born September 28, 1972

                    September 28, 1972

                          9      +  1  +  1  =    2 Birth Path  (Gwyneth)

COMPATIBILITY ANALYSIS FOR BRAD, ANGELINA, AND GWYNETH

Brad Pitt’s Birth Path 4 indicates a strong, practical, and determined nature.  He is hard working and reliable, but also could be a bit stubborn when he thinks he is in the right.  His loyal nature makes him a fantastic friend, marriage and business partner, although he likes to have a firm hand on decision-making.  He expects others to pull their weight in the same way he does.

The individual numbers in his Birth Path for his month (3) day (9) and year (1) indicate a person who is prone to have a high profile life, despite the naturally common-sense and grounded 4 Birth Path.

His month number 3 indicates a strength for communication, creativity, and social life—perfect for a career in the arts!  His day number 9 indicates power, humanitarianism, and broad-minded thinking.  His year number 1 indicates originality, talent, and courage to stand out. Perfect for an actor!

Angelina Jolie’s Birth Path 5 is opposite to Brad’s Birth Path 4.  She brings to the relationship a passionate, unpredictable, and adventurous nature which obviously intrigues Brad’s more down-to-earth nature. Where Angelina likes to do things more spontaneously, Brad may need some time to prepare!

These two may not agree on everything, but the relationship offers each an opportunity to stretch and grow.  To get along, they have to understand that each is different, and not make each other “wrong” for seeing things differently.

However, there are important points they both share—family and service.  While Brad has the day of birth number 9 (humanitarianism), Angelina’s birth month is 6 (responsibility and love of family.)  Also, both her day and year of birth are 4 (grounded and stubborn like Brad.)

Compatibility Prognosis for Brad and Angelina?  Great, in the sense that each brings something different to the table. However, when get into their opposing natures, one of them has to be able to make allowances and let the other lead.  They will need to work out a way of getting past sudden bursts of irritation, and come to agreements about life values and goals involving work and family.

Adding Brad’s 4 Birth Path to Angelina’s 5 Birth Path, we get an outcome of 9—power, international travel, and humanitarianism—exactly what they seem to be doing at the present.  Subtracting 4 from 5, we get the Challenge number 1—showing that each partner has a strong need to feel their own sense of self-sufficiency and individuality.

Gwyneth Paltrow’s Birth Path 2 is similar to Brads’s 4.  Gwyneth values relationship (2) but may have a tendency to put her partner ahead of herself.  Her month number 9 indicates power, humanitarianism, and charisma similar to Brad’s 9.  She also has two 1’s in her day and year of birth, giving her a strong need to develop independence and put her talents to good use.

Because of her 2 Birth Path, Gwyneth may need more attention than Brad is willing to give, however. Birth Path 2 tends to need reassurance and affection to feel happy; otherwise she starts to feel a little insecure.  Angelina, on the other hand, with her outgoing and adventurous 5 Birth Path is more likely to be happy pursuing her own interests.  Brad may find Gwyneth’s nature loving and deep, but perhaps he is more intrigued by Angelina’s unpredictable and unconventional nature.

Compatibility Prognosis for Brad and Gwyneth?  Good initial combination and likely to be a long-term relationship—unless one person becomes too comfortable or emotionally dependent.  Adding Brad’s 4 to Gwyneth’s 2, we get an outcome of 6—perfect for a traditional marriage, home, and family.  Subtracting 2 from 4, the Challenge of the relationship is 2—again it may be that the relationship lacks enough pizzazz for one or both of these two high-profile actors.

TIPS FOR COMPATIBILITY ANALYSIS

Find Your Type of Relationship.   What Law Rules Your Birth Paths: Similarity, Opposites, or Complementarity?

THE LAW OF SIMILARS “AMPLIFIES” QUALITIES

If your Birth Path is the same number as the other person, the quality of that could dominate the relationship.  For example, if both of you have a 3 Birth Path, you share common interests such as talking about ideas  and socializing.  Common behaviors of the 3 will be a trait of both people.  In the case of the 3, for example, each tends to be a little scattered with personal possessions and somewhat unconcerned about keeping track of money.  Since 3’s are not known for being very practical or organized, the relationship might have a few problems if no one is keeping track of finances or washing the dishes!

1 and 1 Both Leaders
These two are strong individuals with a need for freedom to pursue their own goals.  As partners they each need to respect the other’s time requirements.  They need to take turns making decisions or come to an agreement about which areas of life each partner will generally be the leader.  These two power-houses will inevitably teach each other to be more patient and sensitive to the needs of others beside themselves—or they will go their separate ways!

2 and 2  Both Supporters
These two individuals may look to the other to take the lead.  One person may emerge to have stronger leadership abilities and be the decision-maker.  However, there is a tendency here for both to sweep their grievances under the carpet and expect the other to be a mind-reader of what’s wrong.  If the physical chemistry is weak, one or the other could be prone to fall in love with someone else more charismatic and independent—especially if one person becomes a nit-picker or nag. They may create a stable relationship, but need to keep romantic interest alive.

3 and 3  Both Socializers
These partners may be very happy living an active life with few responsibilities, until the bills come due!  These two people are great communicators, very positive, and socially popular. They can be happy in an extended family,(e.g., with nieces and nephews instead of their own children) which can provide love and nurturing without daily responsibilty.  These two generally have a very loving and large network of friends and family. However, both must work out a system for making sure the practical details of life are handled.

4 and 4  Both  Managers
These two people are extremely good at reaching goals, but have to be careful not to be two rigid and demanding of each other.  Each one has a tendency to feel “out of control” unless they have time to plan and organize before making big changes.  They could become very grumpy and griping with each other’s habits (which mirror their own nature—good or bad!)  They may make a lot of money or own property together. Since neither may be naturally affectionate, they may become more like sister and brother over time.

5 and 5   Both Adventurers
These two active and outgoing people will always be happiest when looking to the future, and working on projects together or separately.  Always looking for adventure and freedom from routing, they may share a dream of sailing around the world, or building a business with passive income.  They may be activists who are happiest when working to bring change and reform.  If married, they expect each other to be self-sufficient, and enjoy times when they can pursue their own interests. If they share responsibilities, are organized and flexible about schedules and roles, they may be great very successful in business or politics.

6 and 6  Both Teachers
These people take life seriously and are pillars of the community.  By nature strongly opinionated, they might tend to argue a lot about what is right and what is wrong—but ultimately probably want the same things in life.  They tend to be traditionalists, and need to put their energies into good work in the family, business, or community.  Together they may create remarkable children with an artistic flair.  They may have some wonderful “golden years” together.

7 and 7  Both Hermits
These people each need a good dose of solitude from time to time in order to stay in touch with their inner lives and special interests—whether it is reading, meditating, or stock-picking.  They may share spiritual aspirations or be completely different—that is, one may be devoted to a spiritual path and the other completely uninterested in metaphysical subjects.  They both need to KNOW, and, therefore, excel at bringing new information to each other.  Together they create an interesting life and generally allow each other a lot of individual freedom.  They love their children but enjoy their empty nest.

8 and 8  Both Executives
These two people are both natural CEO’s.  Traditional, hard-working and interested in success, these people do very well at building a business or increasing their net worth over the years.  They may not be very outwardly affectionate, but are respectful of each other and deeply committed.  Once they start something they like to finish it.  Outside stresses from jobs or financial problems may increase their tendency to become a little rigid or seemingly judgmental with each other. One of them will have to remember to step back, relax, and lighten up.  Together they may create a highly unusual style of living that catalyzes beneficial changes in others.

9 and 9  Both Humanitarians
These two people share a strong interest in living life to the fullest.  Both are big thinkers with a big heart.  Almost always, they may both have multiple talents and the drive to get to the top.  However, at times, procrastination, depression, or discouragement could be something that each will have to help the other in overcoming. Together there is nothing these two people cannot accomplish if they master their inner natures and share their talents with the world. They may build a large family, adopt children, collect art, open their home to the neighborhood, or start a charitable foundation.

THE LAW OF OPPOSITES CREATES CONFLICTING GOALS

Some numbers, such as 4 and 5, are considered opposites.  If your Birth Path is 5, for example, you are going to be very open, outgoing, curious about many topics, and easily distracted. On the other hand, if your friend or partner has a Birth Path 4, he or she is generally slower to accept the new ideas that you find so fascinating.  A 4 is strong on organization and responsibility, and may complain that you don’t finish what you start.  Relationships with many opposite characteristics can be interesting and growth-producing, but not always easy.  And we wonder why!

Opposite Birth Paths are:

1 and 2  Leader/Follower
These two can find harmony if the 2 enjoys going along with the 1.

3 and 4  Hopeful/Realistic
3 is positive and spontaneous, while 4 likes to plan and may be a little pessimistic.

4 and 5  Conservative/Risk-taking
4 is realistic and practical; 5 likes adventure and enthusiasm more than facts.

5 and 6 Adventurous/Careful
5 likes surprises and to be left alone at times; 6 looks for security and regularity.

7 and 8  Spiritual/Materialistic

7 can be deeply intuitive and questioning; 8 looks for facts, logic, and productivity.

8 and 9 Materialistic/Humanitarian
8 is rational and productive; 9 can be loving and powerful, yet someting of a dreamer.

9 and 1  Humanitarian/Self-referencing
9 wants to increase the benefits to all; 1 wants freedom to pursue ideas.

THE LAW OF COMPLEMENTARITY CREATES BALANCE

If  two people have similar (but not exactly the same) Birth Paths, they usually feel a certain neutrality without a lot of conflict. With less energy spent in resisting the ideas of the other, long-term companionship or business partnerships cam be very energizing and supportive.

Complementary (Neutral) Birth Paths:

2 and 3  SOCIAL
Both share an interest in art, beauty, ideas, and social interactions. Two is patient and diplomatic, and 3 is cheerful and open-minded.

3 and 5  OUTGOING
Both like to be active and enjoy life; both are interested in pleasure and new experiences.

1 and 4 STABLE
Surprisingly, these two share a strong bond through the qualities of independence and common sense; they respect each others’ integrity and drive to achieve results.

6 and 8  RESPONSIBLE
This is a very well-balanced combination, especially for two women who may work together.

3 and 6 LOVING
This is a wonderful balance as 3 is able to lighten up the more serious 6, but both enjoy people and entertaining others.

6 and 9 GENEROUS
Six is interested in emotional commitments and security and gives the more dashing and intellectual 9 a solid foundation from which to contemplate the universe.
